Samsung may launch a phone with two folds later this year, but it will not release an FE version of the Galaxy S23. Fans of the FE version of Samsung’s Galaxy S phones will not see such a phone from Samsung this year. In recent months, after the release of the new generation of Galaxy S23, rumors leaned towards the positive, but now the scale is tilting towards the negative for the FE version.
However, a leaker named Ice Universe suggests that Samsung may surprise us in a different direction. It is possible that this year, it will come to the market with a phone that has two folds, or a phone with three parts – what is currently called the Tri-Fold.
In fact, during the last CES exhibition, Samsung’s display division showcased phones with two folding axes, but beyond the static display, no further details were provided about how the system will work and what it will be based on.
But now, according to Ice Universe, such phones are on the way, and the question is only whether Samsung will launch the first one in 2023.
Either way, it is almost certain that Samsung will also launch a new generation of its current foldable phones, the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, this year.
